CBD is everywhere and pretty soon it’s going to be in almost everything. Isn’t it just like us to go “all in” with something, before there’s actual scientific evidence that it works. It reminds me of tea tree oil. They started putting TTO in toothpaste, shampoo and bath salts years ago, without any research to back its efficacy. CBD oil has very little scientific research supporting it’s wild indefensible claims, and yet so many want to get in on the action. Yes folks, you can buy wine with CBD, thanks to Cannawines.
Early on in the development of Grateful Grapes Wine Co., Dawn and I had dreamt of adding some type of added health benefit to our wines. We weren’t sure what that would look like, but we liked the idea of boosting the reservatol benefits. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a vineyard that was interested in pursuing our crazy idea. Fast forward to today, and now we are seeing all kinds of different wines: low alcohol, organic and now with CBD.
The question isn’t whether or CBD really works. The question is, do you believe CBD will help you. There isn’t any scientific proof that a glass of wine will make my credit card statement look better, but somehow it does. There isn’t any scientific evidence that a glass of wine makes my jeans fit better, but it sure seems like they do.
Do we need CBD in our wine? Probably not. But, if you believe you need it and that it will help you, then I hope you live in Europe, because it’s not available in the US yet.
Do you think you’d try wine with CBD? I’m curious as to how it tastes for sure! Give us a shout if you’ve tried it and what your impression was. We’d love to hear more about it.
